New Test Project - No Generated Files?

Oct 6, 2009 at 6:36 PM

I'm new to MAF, and Pipeline builder.  I have a strange issue - I created my contract interface, and run the tool.

The tool generates the adapter projects, but there is not any generated source files in the projects...

Any suggestions?

Thanks -

Does it generate files, but doesn't add them visibly to the solution?

Version of Visual Studio?

Still haven't got it to work?

Do the contract files inherit IContract from the right assembly and are decorated with [AddInContract]?

If all fails: if you would d/l source, build in debug mode and put a breakpoint at the code that starts writing files, what is the state of the program?

Is it possible to reproduce for me in some way?

Thanks for your Followup - I still can't get this to work

I'm using VS 2008 w/ .Net 3.5 SP1.

Below is my contract code, but I think it is right:

using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;
using System.Text;
using System.AddIn.Contract;

namespace DemoContract
    interface IDemoContract : IContract
        string ReturnText(string SentText);
        void Initialize();

I could also zip up my folders / projects and send them (it is just an example program for me to learn on).

It may be a day or two before I can pick up on this project again to mess with your source.

I can reproduce the issue every time by simply running the builder. I get the project, a 'Generated Files' folder which contains a checksum file. No Code files, even in the file system.
